Our customer's concern
Hilti Logistics places great value on sustainable personnel development. Specifically, there was a need for a development program that focuses on the individual competencies of participants, takes into account the strategic business direction of the division, enables a sustainable transfer into everyday professional life, and is rolled out internationally.
The project
The Development Center, designed jointly with HILTI, was initially piloted with the Hilti Logistics Top Management Team. They visited the center both as participants and as observers, allowing them to experience the center from both perspectives and utilize it for their own development.
The two-day Development Center itself included elements of practice, reflection, feedback, and workshops. Based on the observations made in the Development Center, reports were compiled, which were used in the follow-up process by our KI.M consultants for both individual coaching and the creation of the personal development plan.
The result
Following the successful pilot of the Development Center, the project is now being rolled out internationally in a first wave, initially for 60 internationally active managers. A 360° feedback session is conducted prior to the Development Center, which is then incorporated into the follow-up process. The expanded perspectives within the Development Center and the individual coaching provided as a follow-up have been particularly positively received.

2. Objectives of the Development Center
Participants will reflect on their own strengths and areas for improvement with regard to their leadership skills and develop measures for sustainable development together with their KI.M coaches. This reflection will be supported by feedback from different perspectives.
In addition to diagnostic exercise modules, a focus is also placed on:
- Reflection elements: Self-reflection logbook based on key questions and reflection interviews with the observers
- Feedback elements: Video-supported peer feedback and final feedback
- Workshop elements: World Café and discussion round
